What did you want to be as a kid?
I wanted to be a footballer and play for Chelsea with my next-door neighbour. He had just moved from London and gave me a Chelsea ball. That’s how I picked my favourite club as a kid.
Who did you look up to growing up?
Probably one of my cousins, Carlos. He was the only older friend I had back then, and I thought everything he did was cool. I even got my hair cut like him.

Do you believe in destiny?
Not really, I wouldn’t consider myself a spiritual person. But sometimes it’s kind of fun to say, ‘That right there is destiny.’ Still, I think it’s a stretch to say everything happens because of it.
What’s the best-kept secret in fashion?
I’m still quite new, so I haven’t come across any real secrets yet.

What’s your least favorite food?
I’d have to say sushi. I just can’t get into it, and I don’t think I ever will.

Do you have a secret dream?
It’s not really a secret—I want to run a youth centre in the part of the city where I grew up. I think that would be the most fulfilling thing I could do.
