How much of your decision to truly pursue acting was courage, and how much was pure recklessness?
I don’t really see either courage or recklessness in that decision. When I like something, I go after it.
Some encounters happen almost by chance but end up staying with you: is there a person or situation that deeply influenced your path?
We are all the product of what we experience and the people we meet. Everyone I’ve met so far has been fundamental.
Looking back, do you feel you got here more through choice, instinct, or unexpected crossings?
It all started as a game, I mean theatre. And when you reach a goal, it’s always the result of multiple encounters and choices. That’s why it feels limiting to attribute everything to one person or a single moment.

Entering such an intense story like ‘Mare Fuori’, when you first faced a character like Samuele, was your reaction attraction or rejection?
I’ve always been open towards Samuele. I associate him with my first experience on a set, so I could never judge him. In a way, he’s been my salvation.
After a day on set, does that kind of energy—heavier, more tense—stay with you, or are you able to completely detach?
It depends on the day. When you give your all, you come home tired, both mentally and physically. But you also carry a sense of pride and satisfaction for giving the character the energy needed to bring them to life.
When you play someone so distant or controversial, do you ever risk judging them, or do you always try to understand them, even when it’s uncomfortable?
I enjoy shifting perspectives and putting myself in the shoes of someone I don’t agree with. I do it in everyday life as well, it’s a source of inspiration, discovery, and self-reflection for me.

Has there ever been a scene or moment where you felt such a strong emotion—adrenaline, anxiety, chills—that it truly surprised you?
That’s a difficult question. There have been moments like that, but I tend to judge things afterwards, so I can’t point to a specific one right now.
In your journey, how important are the people you meet compared to the work itself? Has anyone ever left something with you even without saying much?
Every encounter matters and leaves something behind. In this job, we have to ‘steal’ as much as possible from others.

When you think about yourself a few years ago, what stands out more: the change or something that has stayed the same?
We change day by day, imagine over the course of a year.
If you had to describe this moment in your life with a single feeling, would it be closer to enthusiasm, pressure, or something you can’t quite define yet?
Pressure. But it’s something I put on myself, it doesn’t come from external factors.
