What’s your biggest form of self-expression?
Constructing a self-chosen value system and living in the service of it, even if the horizon ahead seems daunting. We all have to serve someone – if not, then we’e like a boat without a captain, and the course of our life will be pushed and pulled by external forces. Thus there is but one serious philosophical question in life: who or what will you serve?
What do your eyes and mind gravitate towards when you first see a person?
Not to sound too snobbish or anything, but style. We all make quick inferences about someone’s character based on readily available visible cues. Sometimes we can be mistaken, but other times a pair of black boots can indicate a certain kind of confidence and competence; a neat hemline can signal innocence or kindness. That’s the power of style.
Beer or wine?
Wine. Preferably red and from Italy, particularly in Valpolicella.

What’s the first thing you eat after a runway show?
I drink coffee and smoke a cigarette.
Netflix or in-person movies?
Neither. However, there are a couple of movies I can quote backward in my sleep.
What’s your favorite motivational quote?
I do like German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. He’s very witty. One that comes to my mind: ‘The secret to a fulfilled life is: live dangerously!’
