The life of a model is a bit chaotic, not always knowing when, or even where, you‘ll have your next booking. How has that impacted your daily life?
I agree, life can be very fast-paced and chaotic sometimes, although I’m used to travel a lot, so it hasn’t been much of a change for me.
What do you do to manage stress? Do you practice yoga, blast music or take a walk?
I enjoy listening to music, or hanging out with my closest friends.
Small rural town or big city?
Small town, for sure!
Are you a big food enthusiast? What would your ‘last meal’ be?
I absolutely am! It’d definitely be a Senegalese dish called Thiebou Dieune.
What’s your biggest fear in the world?
Loosing someone I care about.
What was the very first modeling gig you had? Were you scared and uncomfortable?
My very first modeling gig was a Prada campaign. As you can imagine, I was thrilled to work for such a well-known and celebrated brand. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or scared, because the whole team was so lovely. I’d say that I was just a bit intimidated.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever been asked to do while modeling?
So far, I haven’t been involved in anything too mad, although isn’t modeling quite crazy per se?

If you opened your phone to show me, what app’s would I find? What application do you use the most?
The usual suspects, like WhatsApp and Citymapper and, of course, Instagram to keep myself updated on trends and fashion.
Texting or calling?
Texting!
What’s your favourite book?
To be honest, I’m not much of a reader, I consider myself more of a movie kind of guy.
What’s the last thing you do at night before going to sleep?
I love watching movies and new TV series, especially after a long day of work.
If you could only live in one place for the rest of your life, where’d it be and why?
I’m very attached to my roots, so I’d say Senegal.
Favourite guilty pleasure?
Listening to 90’s tracks!
What items are on your fashion wish list?
As much as I love fashion, I’m not particularly materialistic. I’d rather spend money on traveling, or buying presents for my family.

What three values would you say are engraved in you?
Family, honesty and respect.
If you could jump back, or to the future, what era would you choose to live in?
I’d love to go back to the 80’s or 90’s. I’m such a big fan of the music and style of those eras.
Do you have a ‘celebrity crush’? Who is it and why?
I don’t consider myself star struck with any celebrity. I’m the sort of person who falls in love with someone’s personality, not their look.
What zodiac sign are you? Does it resonate with you at all?
A Virgo! And, yes, it does: I’m quite shy and a stickler for neatness.
Do you see yourself in the future doing something besides modeling? Or would you like to continue with it for the rest of your life?
It’s very hard to tell, since I’m still in high school. Right now, I’m focusing on my modeling career and reaching a successful point in the industry.
What’s your favourite song?
‘Freedom’ by Akon.
