The life of a model is a bit chaotic, not always knowing when, or even where, you‘ll have your next booking. How has that impacted your daily life?
I love that, it makes everything more exciting. I’m the type of person who doesn’t make plans, so I’m pretty open to what comes my way. Of course, it can be frustrating waiting to hear whether you got the job and have to fly somewhere the next day, or not. Probably the hardest part is not being able to make concrete plans with your friends or family, or when you do make plans and then something comes up.
What do you do to manage stress? Do you practice yoga, blast music or take a walk?
Dancing! Putting my favourite music on and just moving to the rhythm. I’m a dancer, so I enjoy practicing, as I find it very satisfying. Also, for me it’s very important to talk with my friends, having a supportive community is everything.
Small rural town or big city?
Big city, I love parties and the chaos of it all.
Are you a big food enthusiast? What would your last meal be?
Mexican seafood, ‘Aguachile’. It’s full of flavour, very fresh and spicy.
What’s your biggest fear in the world?
Getting sick.
What was the very first modeling gig you had? Were you scared and uncomfortable?
Kenzo’s Autumn-Winter 2019/20 show. I was very excited, because it was my first time travelling to Europe. This job was just two months after I started modelling in México and I wasn’t uncomfortable at all, I had that dreamy feeling.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever been asked to do while modeling?
Once, they asked me to grab another model’s ankles and do pirouettes together.

If you opened your phone to show me, what app’s would I find? What application do you use the most?
You’d find movie apps, social apps and, of course, dating apps. I really like movie apps, because they enable me to watch my favourite films whenever I can and want: watching movies is like travelling for me.
Texting or calling?
Texting, it’s faster and not invasive. For something more important, I’ll call.
What’s your favourite book?
I like to read about art and aesthetics. For example, ‘The Philosophy of Modern Art’ by Konrad Paul Liessmann.
What’s the last thing you do at night before going to sleep?
I like to fall asleep while listening to music.
If you could only live in one place for the rest of your life, where’d it be and why?
Mexico City. It makes me move and dance. Also, there’s always so much energy and it’s a great city to meet new people.
Favourite guilty pleasure?
I never feel guilty when it comes to my pleasures. If it’s a pleasure, then you have to enjoy it!
What items are on your fashion wish list?
Currently, I’m looking for the perfect heeled boots and sandals. Also, lately I’ve been into hair accessories.

What three values would you say are engraved in you?
Honesty, empathy and discipline.
If you could jump back, or to the future, what era would you choose to live in?
The future doesn’t exist yet, so…I’d jump back to the past! In the end, it’s what’s made me be here today.
Do you have a ‘celebrity crush’? Who is it and why?
Omar Rudberg, because he isn’t afraid to be himself. I think he’s authentic, and that makes him very sexy.
What zodiac sign are you? Does it resonate with you at all?
I’m a Sagittarius. I’m always on fire, I value my freedom and am pretty open, so I guess that it resonates with me.
Do you see yourself in the future doing something besides modeling? Or would you like to continue with it for the rest of your life?
I’ll always be in fashion, but my goal also is to work as a dancer, both dancing and doing movement direction for fashion or art projects.
What’s your favourite song?
‘Belleza de Cantina’ by Cardenales de Nuevo León.
