If you close your eyes and think about your career, what’s the first image you see?
There’s a picture of me with Donatella Versace backstage at my first show. That moment still feels surreal. Modelling was never something I imagined doing and that moment felt like stepping into a world I didn’t know.
How would you explain the job of a model to a five-year-old?
You travel around the world, you wear cool clothes, and people tell you that you’re pretty and need to hurry. That’s basically the job.

Is there a piece of clothing you always wear when you need to look your best?
Always boots with a cheeky little heel. They give me that little boost of confidence.
How do you feel about the use of AI in fashion?
Soulcrushing. Fashion needs a heartbeat, not a hard drive.

Are you a product junkie? Can you take us through your beauty routine?
Not at all. In the morning, I use my ‘gua sha’ (if I don’t forget) and always put on some SPF 50. At night, just a gentle cleanser. A few times a week I do a green clay mask, if I feel like it. That’s as luxurious as it gets.
What’s your least favourite food?
Overpriced Italian food in Belgium, or any other country than Italy. Me and my family go to Italy often, and the food there is just so good, so simple and cheap. Paying too much for something half as good just hurts.

Do you have any tips on how to boost your mood on gloomy, winter days?
Have sex.
What’s your favourite song?
Ugh, I hate this question, I can never just pick one! But there are two songs I’ll never get tired of: ‘Frank Sinatra’ by Miss Kitten and ‘Grace Kelly’ by Mika.
